tinkerbell, you really should be on a diet...

have you watched peter pan lately?? well, they re-released it (just for a limited time and only for 3 times what it's worth) and jaron got it for his birthday. i like the idea of peter pan.. no, not the michael jackson idea.. just the never growing old part.. however, after watching it yesterday with jaron i was a little disgusted. did you know that tinkerbell considers herself fat?? she looks down after landing on the mirror and sees her reflection and actually gets upset over the size of her butt. thank you disney!! great idea, putting thoughts of poor body image in our young girls heads early. no wonder there is such a problem with eating disorders. she's a pixie.. she couldn't weigh more than 3 or 4 pounds as it is. sigh.

again with the clowns...

jaron will be 3 on sunday and this week has been crazy trying to get everything ready for his party. he's so excited! i did find out that one of my friends can't make it on sunday but has a special surprise for him on monday. a CLOWN is coming to MY house to bring him balloons! that's right a clown.. my friend is just evil... she knows my fear... i have to be brave for him...i can do it.. breathe...

have you seen the trailer for "dead silence" yet?? i almost passed out when i saw it.. and it's made by the same people who did the "saw" trilogy. i can only imagine because i will not be going to see it...the trailer was enough. if you know me, you know my extreme fear of puppets, clowns, and pretty much anything that wears a mask. then i read that rob zombie is remaking "halloween". even though it scares me, this is one of my favorite movies ever... i wonder how good his version will be?? after seeing these pictures, i started to think about what movie scene scares me the most. i think it has to be "salem's lot" when the "boy" is floating in the air, scratching on the window for someone to let him in. yeah, i don't think so. don't open the window to anyone/thing FLOATING outside. this scene in "poltergeist" when the clown drags the little boy under the bed (the reason for my clown phobia)
and then there is the needle pit scene in "saw 2"... imagine having to dig in a pit of needles.. that really freaks me out.
