jaron and i have been stuck in the house for 2, going on 3 days. this ice won't go away. my husband still has to go to work, or slide to work, but i won't/can't drive in this. so, i've found some things to do.. like making these curtains/maybe a quilt instead, and rearranging my drawers. (and i didn't do it to just one.. i did it to all of them) (i'm seeking help) i saw this folding technique on a home organizational show and i laughed and thought who would actually do this. well, i did, and if the ice doesn't melt soon, i may even bake something.

whenever i hear the words "ice storm", i always think of ang lee's movie "the ice storm".
you know it's a good movie when instead of icy weather, you think of key parties, drugs and electrocution.

if only...

we could look and dress like this... ok.. they were gorgeous.. but, why can't we at least dress this way?? i'm so sick of jeans and tank tops... i want to dress up...everyday! i'm going to find a feather robe and feather slippers and wear them, with a martini in one hand and a bottle of pills in the other. oh, the glamour...
