why do they do this to us??

sorry i haven't posted in a while.. i've been trying to open jaron's new playdough set that he got for christmas. now.. why do they feel that they have to tie down every single piece of this set??
are people stealing pieces of mr. potato-head?? ugh. at least jaron can ride around in his new power wheels while he waits.. (it came fully assembled!!)

overboard...

i've written a post about this house before...
i drove by it again the other night and there were so many lights and crap in the yard, i just had to share. from a few blocks away, it actually looked like the house was on fire.
ha! simplify, people!

sick...

i've been sick, my son is sick, my husband is in the early stages of being sick...
and now, i'm a week or so behind on all my christmas shopping. ugh..
i don't know if it was taco bell, the mad dog i painfully drank at my friend's christmas party on saturday, or some new virus going around... well, for me, i'm betting it was the mad dog...
no longer just orange and grape flavored... now, there's kiwi lemon... ugh.. i think i just threw up again.

oh, dublin!

we went out of town this weekend to visit my sister. oh, to travel through small, red-neck, texas towns.. it's always entertaining and this time, a little disturbing. (well, it's always disturbing!) while driving through dublin, texas (home of dr. pepper) we decided to stop at a dairy queen. not wanting to go in for safety reasons, we decided the drive-thru (spell check?) was the safest bet. as we pull up to order, what do we see?? a pick-up truck parked right up front with 3 dead deer tied to it. all were bloody, eyes open.. one was even hanging...and i believe they had been gutted. now, i know that people hunt deer...but, i have never seen this...
even scarier, people were walking by it (remember it was parked in front) and not even vomiting. i suppose this is normal there... if i were the hunter, (yeah, right) i would at least want to park my truck discreetly around back...(people are going there to eat!!)...suddenly a burger didn't sound so good, i had lost my appetite.
