1. What is your idea of perfect happiness?all my friends and family together.
2. What is your greatest fear?i have tons of fears, all the classics, spiders, flying, water, drowning, etc. but anything bad happening to my son. that would be my greatest fear.
3. Which living person do you most admire and why?that's a hard one, but probably my friend andyrea for how she dealt with and still deals with the death of her son zack, who died from cystic fibrosis when he was 9.
4. What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?all these fears, that keep me from doing things i'd like to do.
5. What is the trait you most deplore in others?racism.
6. What has been your most embarrassing moment(s)?drunken phone calls to various people.
7. What vehicles do you own?Black altima..not too exciting.
8. What is your greatest extravagance?probably getting my hair done.
9. What is your most treasured possession?Cuddles, my teddy bear i've had since i was 4 or 5. i still sleep with it. :)
10. Where would you like to live?L.A. again, or austin. i used to want to live in halifax, nova scotia because it rains a lot there. weird huh James, (considering your book) ever been there???
11. What makes you depressed?when i see or hear of hurt, abused, missing children. it just kills me.
12. What do you most dislike about your appearance?my stomach. i wish it were flat again!
13. Who would play you in a movie of your life?people always say i look like alicia silverstone, or lisa marie.
14. What is your most unappealing habit?it used to be smoking.. but now i guess, it's biting my fingernails. gross.
15. What is your favorite smell?the ocean, or rain.

33. What single thing would improve the quality of your life?money. (i have to agree with james on this one, as bad as that sounds.. it would be nice to have the money to travel where you want...etc..etc..

35. What keeps you awake at night?every little noise.. i'm terrified of someone breaking in.. again the money thing would help with an alarm system.
36. What song would you like played at your funeral?maybe, "it was a very good year" by frank, but i really don't like frank, so.. probably "sliver" by nirvana.
37. How would you like to be remembered?for living such a long, full life.

my living room has exploded!

see what my son has been up to so far today..i think he's taken almost every toy out from his room and piled it here.

i just signed up for netflix, and i received my first 2 dvd's yesterday, and when i went to put one in, my dvd player said tray locked. after calling a bazillion places to see how to unlock it, it turns out there is nothing i can do except buy a new one. i know they're not too expensive, but what timing! my luck, i guess.

i just did a few of these for my thursday thirteen. but, here are some more..
weird things about me..
1) when i wash my face at night, i don't like to close my eyes because i'm afraid when i open them there might be someone's reflection in the mirror behind me. (i.e. ghosts) so, i deal with the soap in my eyes because i think i would have a heart attack if i saw someone or something.
2) i like to freeze pickle juice and then eat it like a slush.
3) i'm very superstitious, i'm always throwing spilt salt over my shoulder.
4) i loved high school. sometimes i wish i could go back.
5) i hate, hate going over bridges, and i won't fly over water.
6) i have my tongue pierced.

so sad

i was watching the news last night and it's all so sad. so many missing or murdered children. what is wrong with people? it makes me sick, and angry. i've always been anti-gun, but i've been thinking lately that i need one. i actally was so upset that i started thinking that carrying a gun in my purse would be a good idea. seriously, how dumb?
on another sad note, we put our cat ethel(family cat at my mom's house) to sleep last night. get this, she was almost 20 years old, and she was an outdoor cat. we found her when i was 15. it's sad , but she was starting to suffer, so it's for the better.
ok, i'm going to go eat lots of chocolate bunnies to make me feel better! :)

thirteen completely random things about me!

1. i hope i'm doing this right!
2. i don't understand women's clothing, i wear a small, medium, large, x-large, 4, 6, 8, 10, and even 12's?? why can't they just make sizes all consistant!! (as long as i'm always a small) :)
3. i met marilyn manson at a concert in l.a. and i almost passed out because i couldn't believe he was talking to me!
4. halloween is my favorite holiday! i even got married on it!
5. i used to live in the country where ever summer tarantula's would migrate across our land and you couldn't even walk to the car without stepping over tons of them!
6. i have a HUGE fear of spiders! probably because of #5.
7. i love cloudy, rainy days.
8. i think i want another baby.
9. i have 4 tattoos and want more.
10. i got to interview carrie fisher (a.k.a. princess leia) at her house in Beverly Hills, and she was sooo cool!
11. i'm a big star wars, star trek geek.
12. i almost got into a fight with courtney love. ( i don't think i would have done very well)
13. i like cleaning, really!

it's day number 9 without a cigarette. i feel sooo much better and i'm finally getting used to not smoking. it's really getting easier. i don't ever want to go back! i haven't posted in while because bryan and i have been busy trying to put up a fence in our backyard. by doing it ourselves, we are saving around $400.00, but, after a few days of digging fence posts, i'm starting to think that paying someone might be worth it. but, we'll get it done. i just always want things done right now, and this is taking a while, plus bryan has to work all weekend, so i don't think much will get done until monday. ugh. it's really pretty today, not too hot, so i think i'll take jaron to the park today! have a great weekend!!

the girl on the left is pam, then, paige, eric (one of the grooms :)) sydney and me.. i look a little demonic, sydney grabbed me so i wasn't ready..
oh well.. still a cute pic!

and now..

jaron doesn't want anything to do with his new potty chair. just one more thing he doesn't like. : ) maybe that's normal. he just doesn't like anything new, or maybe he's just not quite ready. i found a mother's day out class for him this summer. it's 6 weeks and just 2 days a week. i think it will be really good for him to be around other kids his own age. maybe it will help with his eating too!! of course, i'll be the one crying when he goes to school. : )
i'm on day 4 without a cigarette. it's pure torture. i honestly don't know if i can do this.
